I'm so happy to have witnessed that.

England is the national team I would least like for the US to emulate.

I just don't get the biggest upset in football history thing. I get it, it's a big upset. But if you would have asked me if Iceland had a chance before the game started I would have said yes. That's not what I would consider one of the biggest upsets in history.

I legit thought Iceland had no chance

Iceland has a bunch of players who have actual jobs and don't play soccer professionally.

Mac's accent becomes more pronounced as the emotions become more raw.

Brief hijack: I love that movie, but I wish he had knocked the PK away instead of catching it. Would've been much more believable.

Back to this amazing Iceland cheer

On name alone yes. But they've played well so far this tournament. They didn't just come out of nowhere this game.

How long have you been living in England? The 2010 post mortem was rough, England were beaten by a decent German team. This is going to be something else.

Agreed. They beat Netherlands twice in qualifying - who is questionably a better team and has less of a habit of choking in early tournaments. They beat Turkey and Czech Republic in qualifying as well. Iceland has proven they can beat quality teams + England gonna England = recipe for Iceland win.
