A (happy) tearful Lauren Holiday just confirmed she's retiring from USWNT at 27. Says has given last 10 years to national team. Family now.

That whole having a baby thing makes soccer tough. I understand women wanting to give up a sport like that to have a family.

Good for her wanting to go out on top. If she's ready to start a family, then this seems like the perfect time. Her husband makes a decent amount of money to keep them supported.

I don't even NBA, bro.
I've only watched a handful of NBA games since Jordan retired for the second time.

I wonder if she will come back after she has a kid. I can't think of too many female players who retired for good in their 20s.

You haven't missed anything.

I was wondering if she might do this.
During the third star special yesterday, it sounded like Ellis said to her "heck of a way to go out" after she had said the same to Boxx.

Jrue Holiday is 25.
Baby Holiday boy born next year.
Jrue Holiday plays for FC Barcelona or Real Madrid basketball to end his career.
Baby Holiday gets spotted by a legitimate youth academy while in Spain.
Baby Holiday gets world class development.
PROFIT

His mixed race would fit right in with the germans we have right now.

You think too small.
Identical twin baby Holidays grow up and play for the USWNT.
Their brother becomes an NFL running back.
If she's truly baby-crazy then Jrue might very well get fricked to death.
