Ancelotti was a much more accomplished coach in Europe than AVB.

Roman got caught up in the next Mourinho hype. Boas might end up being great, but he is not ready for this job imo. He's got less than two years experience as a manager.

At best he is there for two seasons.

I'm leaning that way as well. AVB is obviously a talented coach, but I remember reading how Scolari, a world cup winning manager, and also talented, had a lot of trouble controlling the egos in the Chelsea locker room (For some reason, Michael Ballack hated Deco). Those ego's haven't gone anywhere, and there are rumors of something going on already between John Terry and AVB. It's hard to demand respect from players who are the same age as you.

That's awesome. I was so excited on the last Saturday of last year. The Wolves are pretty decent on FIFA, but I think that Hahnemann was pretty bad on 11. However, he was released, so I guess that is a non-issue in real life.

I read the Simmons articles, and Newcasted United and Tottenham Hotspur seem pretty cool, with Newcastle gaining the edge due to sweet uniforms, beer, and also I feel like Tottenham is kind of trendy. So I think I'll add Newcastle to my list along with Everton and Fulham.

When taking into account his idea of whether or not it's a vacation destination, Fulham would be #1 of those three, but I won't be going to any EPL games any time soon, so that doesn't matter a whole lot.

ETA: I think Craven Cottage is pretty cool.

the EPL is something that you could probably watch w/o a team. if you need a team, you could choose one pretty easily off of what you have watched. you'll get some good games on ESPN, as long as you commit to watching more than one game. choose one when you identify with a team.

ETA: i am in no way a liverpool supporter, but what they are trying to do (comolli) is ridiculously interesting. plus, their team, at least for the last half season, has been insanely entertaining.
