I think this team has plenty of talent to be pretty good but when your manager is constantly negating anything positive with his incompetence, it's hard to keep any momentum. Plus it seems like we never have three or four hitters who are hot at the same time. ...

The Braves don't have enough money to trade prospects for star players and re-sign them. And they definitely can't compete in free agency. Building from the farm system is the best way to find success and maintain it unless you're a big market team. Look at the Rays for a team that does it right and...
