Obviously there's a lot of nationalism on here (although some of it's tongue in cheek), but I'm not sure it plays that big of a role in club support. There are only like 3 or 4 Fulham fans on here; there are at least 2 Wolves fans.

Most people I know tend to root for fulham in neutral matches because fulhamerica

What makes it "blind" nationalism?

That's probably true, but they're not really fans. I suspect the Fulham season thread is on like page 7 or something, it's pretty much just Brave and me (there are a couple who don't post much).

I think Edu should get some serious minutes with Stoke. Very good move for him. He's got enough talent to be a mid-table EPL starter, just like Bedoya is good enough to start for a Scandinavian champion.

I am glad that the Rangers debacle did not really hurt the careers of the younger USMNT guys involved. Now let's see where Bocanegra goes.

you could start 11 Americans for ManUre and I'd hope them to lose every game and get relegated...

Although I'm a Lebron fan. You make a great point.

Blind nationalist here . Made the decision to support FFC because of American players. Prior to that I had no real Prem. loyalty. But, unlike most of you young'ns, I remember a day when there were none. I also remember trying to find soccer scores in the USA Today in the 1980s and THEN trying to follow Wednesday, Millwall, Bochum to keep up with the three or five Americans to crack clubs overseas.
