Let's wait a couple more games until we see how Conte tries him out. If he never plays this pre-season, then our fears have more than come true.

He's not going to ever be a fixture in the Chelsea team. He just needs to move on. I don't want to see his career die.

Eh, he needs to join the loan army and maybe develop into a 1st teamer...although that is rare.
Christensen has a much better chance of 1st team action.

I want to be optimistic and see him rise to prominence, but there are two or three guys who are better defenders that can't even get in our team. Plus it's just hard to have a positive outlook on youth players anymore

I agree but judging by the article on ESPN right now Conte sees him more of an attacker. I don't like it but I guess Conte knows a little more about soccer than I do so hopefully it works out.

Well, all but three or four players were pretty useless today. I think it's obvious to me that Cahill is not good enough. Terry can't play with a CB partner who isn't quick. Emenalo better be on the phone to bring in an elite CB. Oscar and Pedro should also be gone. Ivanovic can go, too. Then sign another legit midfielder and call it a day.

Any outgoing list without Mikel and Matic sucks. Also, Costa wants to go so good riddance.
No clue why we waited so long to make the moves that obviously need to be made. Probably won't happen at all now and we'll be F'd.

I didn't see much of the first game but our right side was getting worked hard today.
