3-4-3

This is kind of what I saw us morphing into a lot of times out of the 3-5-2 base.

Hazard fits too well as the left winger. If not, I see him testing the waters as a second striker at times. Too much of offensive presence and doesn't provide a ton defensively.

Midfield still needs a lot of work though. But I did see today that we're swooping in on Axel Witsel?

Would be cool if we signed some other players because, well, we suck

didnt think much of him in the euros, so thats all i know. would like to see us sign just about any other position and leave our outside players as-is until we see what Conte makes of them. maybe he plays more centrally for his club, but its all pretty meh.

hope we land Kante, and amadou diawara seems like a really interesting player, perhaps a cheaper Kante, but i have doubts if theres any real interest in the latter.

koulibaly has all the makings of the john stones fiasco of last year, so thats troubling along with the fact there hasnt been much floated around about any other potential CB targets.

im hoping the club is waiting for Conte to get his hands dirty with the current squad before getting real active in the market, but thats me trying to spin things positive real hard.

I'd rather Kante because I've seen how amazing he is. I haven't seen enough of Mario to have a strong opinion.

I doubt it. It might be on Chelsea TV, though.

God dammit, I am really pissed that you guys took Kante. He was so instrumental.

Kante? Thats one attribute Ive never seen him display regularly... he likes to run with the ball after he wins it (which is what he excels at)..

Not expecting him to pick defenses apart, but Ramires/Matic/Mikel always expose themselves when on the ball too long. Kante seems much more confident and capable.

Outside of Cesc, the bar is set pretty low in the chelsea midfield for ball distribution.

Does this mean we sell Mikel or Matic now?
