key. Heck they could have challenged to the final week last campaign if that were the case.

If they find another solid center half to pair next to Verm then I think this is the strongest Arsenal side since early 2000's.

Nick Bendtner will score more goals this than Chamakh.

Nah. I don't think Chamakh is going to go nuts or anything, but he'll score more than Beowulf because he'll start a lot more matches. It will be nice to have a target guy up top to free up RvP more. Should be interesting to see how they link up.

anyone going to get one of the new tops this season? thinking about getting a Nasri or Song.

also, RvP has switched to #10, Vela takes #11

I'm strongly considering getting the home kit. If I do I think I might get Ramsey, though his injury is a concern. It'll probably come down to RvP or Nasri.

I'm getting a Nasri home kit. If only he had a better number though. I really want to get a 7,9,10, or 11.

Emirates Cup this weekend

Saturday vs. AC Milan @ 1:20 EST
Sunday vs. Celtic @ 1:20 EST

someone may want to double check my time. I think it's minus 5 hours whatever it says on Arsenal's fixture list.

fun fact of the day:
Theo Walcott finds his target with 22.5% of his crosses. The Prem Lge average for midfielders is 21.2%. @BYUgunner

Arsenal TV doesn't broadcast it if my memory is working this morning. They have exclusive rights to the first 3 friendlies, but I believe the Emirates Cup is broadcast elsewhere. I've always succeeded in finding a link to the games on myp2p.eu

Ahh Arsenal. The poor mans Addicks. Do you think the gunners will finish in 5th or 6th place this year?

did we just get compared to Charlton Athletic? I'd say we're an astoundingly richer man's Addicks. I suspect we'll finish 2nd or 3rd this year. Only a few teams have a manager capable of having consistent skill in clinching consecutive top 4 finishes.

Djourou coming off limping is horrible news. We need to buy 2 CBs minimum.
