God I love Iwobi's gunner goal celebration.

Nice win. I'm glad it didn't turn into the usual Stoke turtle-fest.

If we get everyone healthy, we'll have the depth to compete for multiple trophies, though I think one more huge signing would put us definitively over the top. Draxler would be fantastic, though I'm not holding my breath. We've had teams with much less chemistry that Arsene thought were fine as they are.

Though I still question our training methods, our injuries seem relatively par for the course this season. I hope we can avoid another unreal rash of injuries after the new year.

Good win. Sucks we'll likely be without mustafi against city.

Our problem is less than theirs. It is getting very close to a two horse race.

We are very good right now, anything less than a draw next Sunday is a huge frick me. I think we win.

Yeah I agree with you there. Just wish we had him. But glad we have the depth we have this year. Got through hectors absence, we'll get through mustafis.

I really like the Xhaka/Coq partnership. Offensively Xhaka dictates play. As soon as he gets the ball Xhaka turns and plays it forward mostly. Coq provides a mobile outlet and makes good safe passes. Defensively Xhaka starts off deep and defends by using good positioning and by using his strength to make tackles/knock people off the ball. This allows Coq to press as soon as we turn the ball over. As a result we are a much better pressing team than in past years.

Coq had a great game. He had to have anticipated a pass for an interception at least 5 times.

We need to all really enjoy the run we have been on.

Since opening day, unbeaten in the league and top of the table for today at least.

Haven't lost a match that Kosc and Mustafi started.

Won our CL group.

Walcott: 10 goals, 2 assists
Alexis: 13 goals, 7 assists
Ozil: 9 goals, 5 assists
Ox: 6 goals, 6 assists

Three players have had hat tricks. We've scored the most goals in the EPL and conceded the third fewest.

Let's win the league fellas.

I didn't even realize Ox had this many assists. So happy to see him doing good, hopefully this means he isn't looking to leave the club anymore

and you're absolutely right, this is an amazing run that we all need to enjoy while we have it. I think we can win against City and then the next toughest game doesn't come until February 4th at Chelsea (which might decide the title).

So in saying that, we should continue our good form up until then. I don't want to think too far ahead because anything can happen, but this is a great opportunity for us to get much needed points in this busy fixture.
I just hope that IF we continue this good run and don't lose, it doesn't make Wenger think that adding a Draxler in January wouldn't be the right thing to do

SPOILERS

The musical was trash. But all in all I was a fan. Sucks that Lloerali busted her arse for her kid to get into Yale only to squander it for a shitty career and an unplanned pregnancy.

That look from Jess, tho. If I had the anatomy I woulda been so wet.

What's the method that they choose to determine who plays who?

There's always next year

Mustafi out at least 3 weeks. Hopefully Gab holds his own. He looked good on Saturday.

So I've been thinking about this, and I would support the removal of the same-league prohibition for the Round of 16 draw.

I understand not playing the team from your group until the next round, but not playing teams from the same league is questionable at this point.

We only had 6 possible opponents and two were bayern and real. With a 1 in 3 chance you knew it would be one of those two.

Let's just go win. They're not invincible.

Wenger does pretty decently against Ancelotti coached teams. We've played well for stretches against Bayern in previous games. If Ozil makes that penalty a couple of years ago that game might have gone differently.
