Every Arsenal outfield player but Joel Campbell has been injured this calendar year.

Our new selling point to players needs to be "come to arsenal, even if you arent starting right away....just give it a week".

How we are only two points off the lead is amazing. Looks like Kos should be okay and Theo is going to be back for Sunderland on Saturday. Santi has ligament damage and is unkown as a time frame.

Alexis should be back for Man City. If we somehow win by 2 or score 3+ and win in Greece I am going to be shocked.

The top of the PL has steadily gone down in quality. Look at CL.

It's made for a lot of exciting title races and competitive matches throughout the table though

Agreed. The days of 3 PL teams in the semi-finals of the UCL are done.

Jack needs to hurry back. He's a perfect replacement for Santi. I think he and Coq are our midfield of the future. I know many disagree but I think Ramsey is perfect for the right.

ETA: with Bellerin.

Apparently Chambers played 90 minutes at DM for the U21s yesterday and looked good.

I don't think he'll start there, but if Flamini gets hurt or plays like shite, he could see some time there. Hope he does and plays well.

Are you just posting that to say you can't see where multiple goals will come from? Or are you saying we need to score a certain number of goals to advance? I'm just confused because I was under the impression that a win by any margin gets us through.

What he typed is how Arsenal would move on.

This made me look up the tiebreaker rules. I was under the impression that the 2nd tiebreaker was just goal differential in all group games, but that appears to not be the case.

quote:

1.higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;

2.superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question

How long has that been the case? Am I just confusing this with league tiebreakers?

I think Arsene actually loves our annual slew of injuries.

That way he has a built-in excuse.

"Oh, what a gallant managing job Arsene did to get Arsenal to finish as high as they did, with all the injuries!"

You just may be onto something. It is pretty sick from a mental point of view. But, so are all of us who chose to follow this club.

Even with our injuries I fully expect three points tomorrow. Of course that means that Flamini plays in a sane manner at DM and we don't concede on a counter or set piece.

Just no injuries for either team.

something I am very interested to see is Walcott playing on the right again with giroud up top. Although this is not ideal because of walcotts defensive laziness but I think we can get results with this pairing because it has worked in the past such as when we beat Bayern at Bayern which was the same year that Bayern won the champions league. With the pace of Walcott running on to balls from ozil and the physical presence that Giroud brings. It will be a nightmare for opposing defenders but it might cost us in defensive stability. I think our season rests on the players that are coming back to really make an impact especially wilshere who personally I think is world class and once he gets a run of games in the first team is a mainstay. I think we can still win the league if we can get through December without any injuries.

GO GUNNERS!!

Welcome to the board. FWIW, I have had a Ramsey kit since 2010/2011 season. He is my boy.

Ozil is on fire and we need Theo back. I think he gets a runout tomorrow, but he isn't fit enough to start. Maybe next week in Athens. I think we get the Ox and Campbell on the wings with Ramsey in the middle.
