Leeds United can confirm the signing of Zan Benedicic from AC Milan on a season-long loan with the option to buy, subject to international clearance. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder is a current Slovenian Under-21 international and at the start of the summer he was part of AC Milan’s pre-season tour of America. The youngster’s international career has also seen him play for Slovenia’s Under-17 and Under-18s. The midfielder is yet to make a competitive senior outing for the Italian giants but he played a major part of AC Milan’s Under-19 campaign last season, making over 30 appearances. Benedicic is United’s sixth signing of the summer and follows Marco Silvestri, Tommaso Bianchi, Gaetano Berardi and Souleymane Doukara joining the club from the continent. United head coach David Hockaday: “Zan is a versatile, strong and technical midfield player. He has massive potential and comes highly recommended by AC Milan.”

leeds have quietly brought in some technivally gifted players. if they can avoid getting robbie rogers'd by the brutal championship it will be interesting to see how it affects the team this season.

I read this as Romelu and was wondering why the hell Lukaku was going to Stuttgart

Glad to see Lukaku is going to be given a chance to be The Man at Everton, instead.

Marouane Fellaini is one of the players whose Manchester United future is under threat and the Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli are continuing talks over a loan deal for the midfielder. Napoli are trying to convince United to pay half of the Belgium international's salary, while the Premier League club reportedly want around €5million (£4m) to let Fellaini move to Italy for the season.

Apparently Fellaini, Kagawa, Hernandez, Nani, Anderson and even Zaha could be sold for the right price. Granted this is all from the Guardian or the Daily Mail, but does seem like van Gaal wants to clean house.

LvG is giving this kid every chance, so I could see him staying and if he fails getting load out again in the winter. Moyes gave him zero chances b/c he was banging Moyes's daughter.

If any of you gamble I'd put money on Jack Rodwell to score and Sunderland to win 1-0 the next time they play City.

SkyBet suspended betting on him going to Sunderland yesterday bc all the money being laid down on it.

These people bet on anything.

I don't know if it was ever confirmed, SCH might know better, but that was definitely the rumor going around.

Let's just say it happened because of how amazing it is. Probably fricked Moyes's world up.
