He takes shite because he regularly endangers players careers. We hate a number of players on this board, but IMO he is the more deserving of it than any other.

If you hated everything that has caused injury to Glass Holden there wouldn't be much left on this earth for you to enjoy.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mazzarri ok selling him.
He's got all the talent in the world but, with Inter, he's seemed more the type player who's going to do some outrageously impressive stuff here and there but not consistently help a great team win. When Roma plays Inter I always like to see his name in their lineup.

They can want him. It's super unlikely that we'll sell, or that he'll go, unless Wenger has given up on him completely, or if the offer is really really really good. Like 45 mil pounds. Wenger realizes that Wilshere counts as a homegrown spot and for that reason he probably isn't going to go anywhere. I feel like this has something to do with Wenger perhaps asking about the availability of Pogba.

If 2 English players were to choose to move to Italy in the same year I'd take the pamphlet on preparing for the "end times" some homeless guy on the corner under my apartment is always trying to hand me.

The agent of Paris Saint-Germain's Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani has been quoted as saying that both Liverpool and Arsenal have made enquiries about his client. A transfer to the Premier League still appears an outside bet, as the 27-year-old is on huge wages at the Parc des Princes and cost £53million when he moved from Napoli last summer. Claudio Annellucci told the Daily Mirror:

Dude makes 9 million quid a year good luck with that. I don't want him anywhere near United.

Another reported target for Manchester United is Daley Blind, and the Daily Mail suggests that they are in the frame for his signature after it emerged the 24-year-old has been training alone since he returned from international duty. Ajax youth coach Richard Witschge expects him to leave the club.

There are plenty of interesting stories in today’s newspapers, with the Daily Star saying that Manchester United are poised to step up their bid to sign Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal. Juventus have repeatedly made it clear that they hope to keep the Chile international, but it is reported that United are plotting a £45million offer and negotiations have begun towards a deal that would see Vidal become the most expensive signing in United’s history.

Manchester United have ended their pursuit of Thomas Vermaelen after refusing to consider a player-swap deal with Arsenal, according to Sky sources.

Vermaelen, who is also reported to be wanted by Barcelona, had been linked with a move to Old Trafford but it is understood Arsenal were not prepared to sanction a direct sale to United.

New United boss Louis van Gaal wanted to bring in the Belgian defender to add experience to his squad following the summer departures of Rio Ferdinand, Nemandja Vidic and Patrice Evra.

Barcelona now look to be the leading contenders to prise the Belgium centre-back away from Arsenal, who are reported to have wanted Chris Smalling in exchange if they were going to do any sort of deal with United.
