Can’t believe this thread has gone this long without someone referencing the similarities with the formation of the Bull Moose party.

I’m going to wait and see what the party’s platform is. Want to make sure it aligns with my beliefs but I am very open to a new party.

Easy 80. Don't forget to factor in the utter insane policy consequences that will be in play; hell, just the price of gas is going to wreak havoc and sway a lot of former TDS fools to break for their own sake.

I've always said that if this *Trump* don't get it done...the next *Trump* will make this one look like an Altar Boy. One who won't be begging for votes.

I'll take the bet because the Patriot Party doesn't need to win all they need to do is sabotage the GOP by allowing the Democrats to win those house seats and then the Democratic v. Progressive wings will go to war. Patriot Party doesn't need to be relevant immediately if it can play the longer game it will be a powerful force in American politics moving forward.
You make a pretty convincing argument.

frick it

I think its great he wants to start a new party and all but If he truly wants to make a difference and impact he needs to get as liquid as he can and buy a news network.

I think a third party is the only thing that saves the country. I dont support Trump, but I support creating a third party.

Hate it cause it just ensures a democratic victory. The path of least resistance is to transform the Republican Party.

And how can you do that while you have the Paul Ryan’s & Turtle’s of the World. These two are Uniparty. Rules for thee but not for me while they get massive kickbacks from “special interests” making them/their families extremely wealthy.

Romney got 61 million. If any of you think trump takes the majority of this party anywhere.

Trump had basically the highest approval ratings amongst the GOP voters ever. Around 98%.

A third party could emerge in the US to rival the Republicrats. It won't emerge from a Trump led effort, he is too polarized even though he was a very leftist Republican. Why democrats hate him I will never know, he pushed their agenda farther than any modern Democrat... HELL he was paving the way for UBI!!! A mix of Trump policies without trump would probably be able to sway some Democrats and pick up a lot of Republicans. You don't need 50% to be a power player, you need enough to be the margin in the House and Senate and pick away 5% of the Electoral college. With those two things they would become the most powerful political party in the Country being the decisive vote for just about everything and demand the attention of both the Democrats and Republicans. Their issues would be front and center.
