re: OT moms, why the reduction in titty feeding? - jennBN
Huey-can you offer any reliable sources for that information. It seems rather antiquated and certainly doesn't mesh with the CDC, WHO, or AMA stance....

re: How much are you paying for health insurance? - jennBN
Mine is free for whole family with no deductible. I occasionally think about leaving my job and moving though so I am curious about what people's deductibles are too. Insurance for a family of four is a serious benefit........

re: San Francisco is dirtier than New Orleans. - jennBN
I work at the county hospital in Oakland....I see the good and bad of the place. Orinda is super nice. Most homes start at 1 million there. It is beautiful, lush and green. San Leandro is a little less affluent (homes start at $500K) but still has some nice pockets with diverse food options and...
Crime, poverty, gangs and unemployment have long plagued the city, and transformation, so far as I can see, remains elusive to say the least.
I will wholeheartedly agree with you in regards to crime, however, poverty is becoming far more elusive. Property values in Oakland and t...

re: San Francisco is dirtier than New Orleans. - jennBN
That's not a problem IMO. My good friend bought a 1000 sq ft apartment there last month for $1,000,000 and before he even moved in his realtor came to him and said she had someone willing to give him $1,200,000 for it! He didn't take it because he loves the place but damn that is a crazy real...
San Francisco's biggest problem to me is the techie gentrification of it. It's losing a lot of it's soul and becoming a playground for young, rich tech workers.
This...and the smell of weed has little to do with the cities cleanliness or lack there of. The homeless population ...

re: How much water will cause a diluted urine sample? - jennBN
I didn't have to pee in a cup. Just blood test for communicable diseases. I signed a ton of consents....don't think you could arbitrarily test for pregnancy now :)...

re: How much water will cause a diluted urine sample? - jennBN
Isn't that illegal to test urine for pregnancy? There are federal laws preventing asking about it during an interview but your company tests all urine for hcg? Wtf?...

re: Life in Louisiana - Considering moving home - jennBN
I can't give specific advice on Houston/Baton Rouge....but I contemplate moving back south from the west coast daily. I. The end the financial security and opportunity keep me in California over Alabama. Family is important but peace and no stress about money holds a great deal of value for your i...

re: AOL Founder talking about NOLA... - jennBN
New Orleans has gotten pretty expensive but still not comparable to out here. A coder starts off around 125K here and still has to live with a roommate. Buying a house on 125 is probably not attainable in south bay. I would bet you could buy something in NOLA on that income....

re: AOL Founder talking about NOLA... - jennBN
I think NOLA has the culture to attract young engineers/coders and the ability to provide housing at a more affordable cost. I might be biased though and want you guys to take some of the techies off our hands ...
