Love the idea but think he needs to wait until the left is the one to splinter first and the communists rebel against the "moderates".

Although dems largely have no moral code and have their entire identity wrapped up in their politics so the moderates will probably just jump into the abyss with them when it comes down to it.

Third parties have typically failed to draw enough support to play a major role in national elections. Any effort to start a new party would likely face intense opposition from Republican party officials, who would chafe at the thought of Mr. Trump peeling off support from GOP candidates.

Good. Turtle needs to know that the Republican Party is screwed if they go ahead with this sham trial in the Senate. A political party that starts off with 75,000,000 souls would be a force to be reckoned with.

It needs to be a subset of the GOP like the TEA party was, and slowly primary out all RINO's and swamp dwellers to reclaim the Republican Party - and keep from giving the DNC a super majority.

The good news is that if he does you will instantly see bipartisanship between the Democrats and the Republicans. The bad news is that if he does you will instantly see bipartisanship between the Democrats and the Republicans.

Is this 4d chess to end the republican party to give the democrats complete control??

Don’t worry. The republicans already have no control and the future precludes them ever really having it again.

Yeah I'm in if he does this. Republicans have done nothing but disappoint me my entire life.

Time to wreck shite.

Lead on Mr. President.

GOP's can have the establishment. If Trump starts the Patriot Party I am in!!!!!!!!
If repubs vote to impeach Trump AFTER he leaves office, they will hammer the final nails in their coffin.
The beauty of it all would be that they would be on record voting to impeach a prez that got 74 million votes, and their impeachment would be unconstitutional. It would be overturned by SCOTUS, and a new party would be formed. There are more Tump voters that would leave the dim and GOPe party's than the GOPe would retain. The Patriot Party would be far larger than the GOPe.

Establishment Republicans are really indistinguishable from Dems at this point anyway. So why have a Republican Party anymore? Trump supporters are a very high percentage of the 75M or so that voted for him. If they all move to the Patriot Party that’ll leave the R’s in third, and left to die hopefully not a slow death.

All this would do is ensure that a democrat would win the election every year.

We don't do the coalition thing.
