I read an essay on this that was written in the 50s. Nothing new here.

Don't worry your pretty little head about it, and go and make me a sammich.

It's just observation. I used the "well spoken" line because the white guy usually speaks like a goofball or a "broski" in that scenario.

It's just one aspect of having a liberal progressive controlled media. A significant strategy for liberals is creating an image that they are the champions of the downtrodden. In this case, they want to boost the public perception of women at the expense of the conflicting image of men.

If you critically examine the details of what is presented to the public and possibly more important, what is not shown to the public or minimized, you will begin to recognize trends like this that relate to agendas/control. Everyone is biased to some extent. I actually prefer blatant/obvious bias because it allows you to examine the 2 or more sides/perspectives of an issue and hopefully find some measure of truth in between. Good examples are talk radio vs MSNBC. My problem is with the subtle bias of the major networks that has been molding society since the early years of Walter Cronkite and CBS; finally exposed through Dan Rather.

It's just white men that are depicted as stupid incompetent fools.

Honestly I can't say I've met a girl who thinks men should now down to them. Obviously if you're soft they'll run over you per human nature but from what I've seen most women prefer the alpha

I thought this until I attempted to date a couple of girls from Cali in college.

"Why are you opening my door? I can do it myself."

See I've never lived in Cali but I've messed with a couple liberal teachers that moved here from New York and Cali and they loved the southern gentleman attitude because the guys back home were assholes.

Actually, I take that back. The opening the door act is fine, in and of itself. Your reaction to their bitchiness is what would determine whether you're alpha or not.

That's because no one does that out there. They assume you think they are helpless rather than doing them a kindness. However, if you keep doing it, they grow to love it. It's the same way up north. A southern gentlemen with a drawl that's not too hickish can pick up girls like he's shooting fish in a barrel. That's because for so many girls up north, all they really know of the south is hunky, romantic country music stars, so they associate southern accents (as long as they're not too hickish) with romance.

I said something to the effect of:

"I'm sure you can pay for your own dinner as well, but you're probably expecting me to do it anyway."

Needless to say, it didn't work out with this particular girl. She ended up dating one of my beta friends for awhile.

Some women prefer to date betas so they can control them (see "Saving Silverman"), but they bang alphas on the side. What those girls really are attracted to are guys who don't just handle and put up with their bitching, but dish it back. It turns them on when a guy stands up for himself and shouts them down when they start bitching at them. Thankfully, these women are only a small percentage of the population.

That's such a bitchy an immature attitude.
This is one of the ways to separate women from ladies. A lady is gracious and appreciates kind gestures and assumes you are simply being a gentleman. A woman will respond to an act of kindness with anger and assume the worst.

I mean, I can change a tire if I have to but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate having a man offer to do it.

A lady wants a man she can respect and admire. I respect and admire my husband tremendously.

That doesn't mean I'm subservient either. I'm just an adult.

I feel sorry for the young women today. They're getting conflicting messages.

They're told by raging feminists that they don't need men, but then see in Pop Culture themselves glorified as nothing more than sex objects.

I think that's why you see a lot of hook ups and then regrets the next morning.

Almost ever male role has been completely emasculated.

It's all about mind manipulation. The feminists and "gays" who control what's put on TV and in the movies want young girls to grow up thinking they are superior to men and don't need men in order to survive and young boys to grow up thinking that they are inferior to women and need women in order to survive.

Just watch any SF movie about the future and you'll see what I mean.

Sadly this is true.

The radical feminist agenda has become so warped, and then aided by the gays, it is an all out assault on straight males.

It's a major problem. Finding a woman who has not been completely blindsided by the brainwashing is near impossible.

So this is a thread about overly sensitive men bitching about how modern media portrays men as limp wristed pussies? I really hope I'm not the only one able to appreciate the irony here.

A man so wrapped up in how his gender is portrayed and so easily rustled has no business talking about the media emasculating them. Grow a pair.

I get what you're saying but at the same time I do believe this is an issue worthy of discussion. I wish I had more time to devote to it today.
