That is what everyone who advocates Marxism says. What is so complex that no one can understand it when they scoff at it.

I'm not sure why that is a 'boom'

The US has been doing worse than what Russia did by 'invading' Ukraine.

No it's really not that complex, but I'm certain you think it means big government, authoritarianism ect

You'd likely lose that bet.

All he'd need would be a slight clue to win.

Stupid diversion on your part since you are the poster who argued over 10 pages in a thread when you were posting under your previous screen name that the Federal Reserve is a private bank without "anything to do with the government."

I was the one pointing out to you the governmental oversight of the Fed.

Have you now changed your mind about the Fed???

I argued that it wasn't an official entity of the government, because it's not.

Way to lie, per usual.

I read your thing about Marxism back in the Sailor post, and answered. You...bailed!

I have no problem with the Marxist Theory. Or the possibility that when folk get their VISIONARY FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE, it might be the ideal model. But the degree of cooperation necessary for your idealist Marxism to be successful, now...is an existential impossibility.

Realism trumps Idealism...because Realism is now. Idealism is the future.

I didn't bail, I sought you out in another thread and asked you to respond to my response to your concern. Your final post was totally incoherent and had nothing to do with our dialogue.

I literally feel like I'm reading the label on Dr. Bronners soap when I read your posts.

And I went and dug that thread up, and honestly answered your critique.

Yeahhhh! Soap. Good enough!

Bullsh*t!!!

That's NOT what you were arguing, mo.

You specifically wrote SEVERAL TIMES that the Fed is COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT from the federal government. No gray area.
quote:

And the Federal Reserve IS completely independent from our federal government. It is totally independent from our federal government. No gray area.

You even went so far to say that "the Federal Reserve is no more federal than Federal Express."

quote:

I bet most Americans don't even know the Federal Reserve is no more federal than Federal Express. It's not a part of our Federal Government.

Are you now saying it IS a part of the the federal government?

The FED is not a part of the federal government, it's not an official government entity. That's what I was claiming in that thread, and you know it. It is completely independent in the sense that I'm talking about, it's not at all federal.

Like the FED?
So why would a privately owned company have to be transparent?

It's either a part of government and should be transparent, Mr. Alex Jones, or it's a private company who only answers to its shareholders, which none of us are.

You can't have it both ways, mo.

The FED wants to act like a government agency, it wants (and does) have great control over our reality.

If it wants to masquerade as a government agency and rule the economic world, then I'd expect them to be transparent.

As it is now they have it both ways. They're able to pretend to be an official arm of the government while remaining mostly closed to transparency.

It's kind of gotten a bad name under all the revolutionaries who used it to overthrow their governments and then turned out to be dictators, right? I mean, in a perfect world marxism would be put into place everywhere, but we don't live in a perfect world so it is by definition impossible. So maybe, just maybe, we can come to the conclusion that anyone riding Karl Marx's dick is more of a contrarian than an intellectual.
