I really think we are to the point that there is nothing you can say that will make them actually believe you. They've got their mind set that he's really interested in that. It's there way of justifying their hatred for them (kind of backwards isn't it, make up the reason after you hate).
But hell, I think we should keep on letting them fear it. If you're an idiot, you deserve to be worried about unrealistic, untrue, moronic things such as that. It's like the boogie man for liberals.
