Are you calling me a buff driver? Fight's on dude. I was centerline thrust all the way. F-4 D/E/G and a little F-15.

Here's a video of my squadron at Bardenas Reales in Spain.
We spent one month out of every six months at Zaragoza, SP getting bombing squares. I remember making fun of the guy who took this video about how the camera was a big as a briefcase.

Flying brick, smoking it up!

You got a foul if you were below 50' on a laydown, and had to pay $5 to the squadron snacko fund. Beats any ride at Six Flags.

Just heard a guy on Faux News speculate it could have been an "Egyptair Allah Ackbar" nosedive into the water. If it went down in Vietnam, it might take a while to find it. There are Americans who went down there in the 60s/70s and have never been found.

I still think there would be debris from that. And military planes in Vietnam are apples to oranges compared to modern 777.

I totally agree. It might be harder to find if it went down overland.

I tell you what, if its found to be terrorist they can expect to get a stern warning from Obama and Kerry and maybe even a finger wag! Hail to the Chief.

Arlo here is the aircraft reporting data, interesting looks like at level off it was game over.

Where are the tin foil loony tunes of the poliboard? I want some funny shite to laugh at with one of their half backed theories.
Hell, at least tell us there were some international bankers or bitcoin executives on this flight.

people always ask this question when stuff like this happens. This sounds more to me like pilot error or some type of plane error that caused the plane to crash.

flight aware charts are estimates for international flights, they honestly don't know exactly what happened other than it disappeared when it got to cruising altitude.

probably, but again just estimates.
I could be completely wrong about it but it probably doesn't even matter, it disappeared after being in the air for about 20 min.

yes I know edited my post
but there are hundreds of possibilities
transponder error because of some electronic error
loss of power to the engines, which would cause a loss of power to the transponders. (Transponders run on generators powered either by the APU (usually not used in flight) and the engine generators, I don't think they can run on battery only)
Catastrophic structural damage. (not sure why the debris wouldn't show up in this case)
Instrument failures which would lead to higher risk for pilot error.
list could go on
sure terrorism could be a cause but it is wrong to say that it must be the caused based on the information known so far.

Who was the Iranian asylum seeker who was on the flight? Was he using one of the stolen passports? Important new info or coincidence?
