Putin was a deep state KGB intelligence officer turned dictator who has somehow amassed a $200 billion fortune as a civil servant.

Seems honest.

You could tell he thought Tucker was a joke. However, the interview was well worth the watch. I think there was a lot of truth in what Putin said, as well as lies.

His personal comments regarding Tucker liking History, etc. were classic KGB moves to make sure Tucker knew that Putin knew everything about Tucker, meant to intimadate.

Tucker seems like a rookie journalist at best. Putin dictated and dominated Tucker and the conversation. Tucker came across as more of a entertainer media host and not serious, as Putin pointed out. You can tell Putin views him more as a Jerry Springer type host.

I have always thought NATO expansion was a very aggressive move, I didn;t agree with.
Once he invaded Ukraine, I thought maybe I was wrong. Now, not sure...

One take away is, it seems Putin is wanting to end the Ukraine war. I may be wrong, but he came across as trying to look tough while also wanting to find a truce.

It was very long, but overall I enjoyed hearing Putin's viewpoint on the situation.
Sadly he seemed more believable than Biden, Haley, Trump or any of our politicians.

IF what Putin said is true... America is more fricked than I ever thought before, and no President will change it... IF what he said is true, America IS the bad guy....

Overall, I recommend watching it. Glad Tucker did it.(even if he sucked)
Makes things a lot more interesting, for sure. I pray the GOP gets thier shite together because now isn't the time for political circus games.

if you look at the interview not from the typical PT Board poster lens but the OT Lounge poster lens then Tucker and Putin’s agendas for this interview make sense.

We here on the PT read everything and are far more aware of the nuances of things going on. We may not agree on what we read, but most here are at least digging deeper than just MSM network news or CNN/Fox. So much of what putin said is not new to us, the question is whether or not you believe him.

The typical OT poster is consuming MSM and has a much lower grasp of how complicated these things really are. so Tucker let Putin talk and Putin explained his side of things. Whether you agree or disagree with Putin, you now know his arguments and perspective straight from his mouth.

Putin definitely liked the long form interview, he is a wordy SOB. I understand why he gave a 30 min explanation on Russian history. The History they know goes back over a thousand years and for much of that they were legitimately barbarians.

Putin didnt speculate, he didnt play hypotheticals, he simply stated what has happened, his version of why it happened and what he would like to do going forward. The doubts and questions about the Western leadership, their motivations, their strategies are not his concern. He seems genuine in wanting to go to the negotiating table and come up with a compromise.

all that being said, we know the MIC is directing traffic and pulling the strings of the Western powers and the CIA is controlling the narratives and agendas. I found it ironic that Tucker didnt bring up Victoria Nuland’s name, that is who really runs Ukraine.

Well... I am a Rep. So no Cooper for me. I am speaking from a Producer perspective in Media.

Tucker did a horrible job as a journalist, but the interview was well worth it. Putin comes across more truthful than our politicians.

How so?

It wasn't perfect, but more than anything he let the man talk, which is why we tuned in. I didn't watch to hear Tucker's goofy laugh or hear his cheesy impressions.

I don't see many in today's world.

Almost all Media has gone to more of a entertainment format. Putin even mentioned it several times, as referenced to his "Is this a Show or a serious conversation?" comment.
