CNN Breaking News? @cnnbrk
A “plan B” after all? "We're going to make a deal on health care, that's such an easy one," Trump just told senators

So messing up the first time is that much more inexcusable then.

I will say this about Trump as President. Political will is probably a non-factor with him. I seriously doubt he cares deep down about the political ramifications or optics of going down swinging on health care. Thus, I could see him push at it again when others in his position might not.

After failing on the first shot, the only way he can keep campaign promises AND get a deal done is to work with democrats and pass something that's probably going to cover more than the ACA did. He will do that to get the tax cuts and infrastructure deal passed. It won't be Obamacare lite, it'll be Obamacare on steroids.

Dammit. I hope not, but that's what it sounds like.

Except when he was saying that he was going to table it until Obamacare collapsed, other politicians were criticizing that.

If trump does push a public option and Ryan doesn't bring it to the floor......he can kiss his arse goodbye in '18.

So Paul Ryan is going to be voted out of his highly republican district because he didn't support a socialistic type policy?

Think he's more political than he comes across. He doesn't give a rip as politics isn't his career

You realize that, with the right amount of money behind another republican candidate, Ryan could get primaried.....especially if Ryan is considered to be obstructionist to trump. Not saying right or wrong.....but Ryan isn't safe as speaker.

Bannon and Breitbart went all out against Ryan in the 2016 primary. He won by almost 70 points.

I could see him long his speaker position, but nobody seems to want it. That being said, losing his district is a lot less likely.

The first thing to understand about our President is he thinks outside the box, Routinely. Some of us have had an opportunity here or there and have experienced this kind of thinking, he does all the time.

Therefore he can not be outguessed or understood in terms that make us comfortable.

How 'bout he does as he promised. Repeal Obamacare. Let's start with that.
