You do realize that the “Trump Brand and Name” has been placed on properties that he hasn’t even owned BECAUSE it’s a BRAND,

Do you understand what Branding is?

Or are you just ignorant to how business works? Serious question!

Trump’s reached over and grabbed it a time or two. Convince me otherwise.

I'm quite familiar with how branding and business works. Do you want to address my point? The value of a commercial real estate building is based on the value of the underlying land and its ability to generate cashflow. How does the Trump name enhance either of those things? I can certainly see how the Trump brand might help a hotel attract guests who like Trump, but it's also going to be a disincentive to people who don't like him. But in this case, how does Trump's brand attract a tenant in mid-town Manhattan?

It really doesn't matter who your lawyer is when the Judge has already decided the verdict

You're right, Trump's brand increases the cashflow of the building because mid-town Manhattan is definitely MAGA country. In fact, you should buy the building and let the bank know that you're going to pay a premium for it because Trump's name is on there. Let me know what they say.

There are dozen buildings in Houston and Dallas that are more distinctive.

Jez Christ, you TDS addled moron.

Does your obsession with Trump cause you to be so fkin insane that even after adopting several alters, it STILL compels you to make statements that are so obviously stupid they can only be attributed to your main username?

The mention of Trump COMPELS you to post and that post is almost ALWAYS dripping with stupidity or outright penis envy of a man who is 10x what you will ever live to be.

You need therapy, you POS....

My guess is location will trump (sorry) feelings about Trump for potential tenants but in Manhattan I think Trump’s brand is probably a slight negative. I know there are intangibles to consider in property valuations, but again I think Trump is a drag on those factors.

When was the loan applied for? Without looking, I would guess prior to 2015. Trump's name would have been a positive in New York prior to him running as a Republican.

If you wanted to open a deli on the first floor of a building, would you choose the building that was a major photo op, or the building 3 doors down?

Ever sold a commercial building? I doubt it ...the name has a lot to do with the value and the fact that it is 100% fully occupied .....

Name a building Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton .....let's see what it draws .....Maybe Bill Clinton's Whore House might be a draw ....

This is a truly bad case. The defense witness testimony and exhibits/evidence are going to be brutal for the AG’s office. James went after Exxon for political reasons and wasted the NY taxpayers money and she’s doing even worse with this case. No telling what the jurors will do though. The case should never have been brought.

EDIT: Oops. Case not being tried to a jury and defense is going to have to make a good record for appeal with this judge.

That's a sick burn and all, but I think the location of that building, on 5th avenue in mid-town Manhattan is probably why it's worth what it is. I think if you took Trump's name off of it, the value doesn't change much. Serious question: what exactly does Trump's name on Trump tower add to the value of the building
?

I dunno, what happens if you take the Nike logo off a tennis shoe?

In the Grenadines in the Caribbean there was a casino/golf course that went bankrupt twice, he put his name on it and its booming.

Blue Sky value is an asset on most notable brands and yes it is quite valuable, Nike, Marlboro, Coke. Just look at what fcking with it can do Bud light.
