While slavery is the biggest black eye on this country IMO and may very well eventually lead to its undoing, could there have been a better situation for the descendants of slaves?

Living in Africa or living in the US. Which would you choose? This is a harsh reality I rarely see acknowledged.

As far as reparations go, it's an impossible task. Let's look at the per capita disproportionate use of an entitlements and call it day, folks.

This is so ridiculous. So would this come out of our taxes paid or will they raise taxes to be used to pay out? Stupid.... No one today had anything to do with what happened during slavery and/or the civil war, regardless of what their ancestors owned, did or where their ancestors resided, etc.

What about those of us whose ancestors came to America after slavery and the civil war? My ancestors, from both sides, immigrated here bw 1900-1920 from Eastern Europe. They came here learned the language, worked in the coal mines in eastern PA and OH. So how am I or others with similar ancestry, responsible for any of this?

Common sense is missing here....

One of my grandmother's ancestors married a former slave...I'm gon' be rich!!!

And when they're broke after a week of buying stupid shite they don't need, they'll demand more. It is never ending.

Let's get the history erased first.

Then when they ask for reparations you can answer:

Is the irony that blacks in general were better off as slaves lost on everyone? No , I'm not saying that blacks should still be slaves, I am simply saying that blacks have either destroyed themselves or let themselves be destroyed since slavery ended. You read a history book and family used to be important to nearly all blacks, slaves would literally risk death to learn to read, etc etc..... Now.............
