Like I said, NOVA controls Virginia with an iron fist.

WRONG. Federal agencies need to be distributed throughout the country. frick all this federal government growth that's turned NOVA into one of the most toxic places in the word.

That's what happened in the last election. These folks got complacent and lazy and stayed home. Got my numbers from several articles on election voter participation in the "red" counties of Virginia. Was really an eye opener and disappointing. We got what we deserved here during the last election. Several state legislature races didn't even field a Republican candidate. Lot of folks here in Virginia are still upset over the fact that the Republican party here allowed so many Dems to run unopposed.

It won't be close. There is such a massive population advantage in NOVA that is just a touch left of Chairman Mao they crush everyone else. It's no different than how Chicago runs the entire state of Illinois, even though outside of Chicago Illinois is solid red.

I don’t trust one poll with their percentages . I trust my lying eyes of the Trump rallies v Biden’s rallies

Interestingly the couple of polls for DC have Biden up by 74 - 82. Clinton won by 87 in 2016. If Trump improves in DC it can only be because of black support and could portend a long night for Biden so maybe that would out VA in play. I highly doubt it but maybe.

I haven’t been home in a long time, it makes me sad to go back.

Is there credible opposition to Northam?

Trump will win Va due to increase minority support and huge turnout in rural areas due to native Virginians fed up with their idiot governor and progressive policies in general.

Didn’t we already do this during the last civil war?
Breaking off the western part of MD and the western part of VA and combining them with WVA would raise the EC number and create a fairly strong conservative base. It has to suck living in a state where your whole region is negated by a smaller region hundreds of miles away.

Southwest Virginia is 90/10 Red and it doesn't mean shite. Its not just NoVa, its also the college towns which have morphed into population centers.

The exact same thing is happening in North Carolina. Charlotte and Raleigh get bigger and bigger, and bluer and bluer, and their population overtakes what used to be the "suburbs" but is now just an extension of the city itself.

Virginia is Blue. North Carolina will be Blue for good by 2028.

Y'all seem to missing a key component: Tim Kaine.
He was the former Gov of VA (06-11) and Senator of VA in 2016 and
Hillary's running mate.

The question is...How many percentage points did Tim Kaine bring in 2016?

Hillary won by 5.32%.

I think Trump easily gets 2% more this time, decreasing the dem advantage to 2.32%.

Without Tim on the presidential ticket...this will be very close.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump wins it. Either way, VA won't be called until very, very late.

My guess is Trump wins it by 2.44%, but with the dems cheating, it will be closer to 1%.
