This decision is just ridiculous.
Tom gives me the money to buy him a (name your firearm of choice/fear here). I buy it. I then gift it to him or sell it to him for $1 (depending on state laws). If you can't privately sell or gift a firearm in a given state, you just say you did the exchange in a state where it's legal and Congress can suck a dick.

Tell me again where that feature is.

Agreed. It's a poor decision and should remind us that SCOTUS is not infallible, they are human just like us and make human errors.
Anthony Kennedy was the one who provided that swing vote. I think he's a good example of the moderate or conservative gun control advocates go after to to build up a successful compromise. People like him are the crack in the dam so to speak.

You just used it fine. I can't see it anyway since I don't have admin privileges from Chicken or Circus Child. It's a feature I wish y'all would use more btw.

Serious question.... How can Righties claim that laws against straw purchases are violations of the 2nd Amendment on one hand, then blame the Obama administration for the deaths of those killed by guns purchased in fast and furious, an ATF operation which allowed illegal straw purchases?
You can't tell the difference between a government agency charged with enforcing the law, violating the law, for the distinct purpose of putting guns into the hands of criminals... and a private citizen making a purchase then giving a gift to another law abiding citizen?
You can't tell the difference? Really?
There are thousands of ways the transaction could have been conducted legally, with no difference in result. For example had he taken the money only an hour later. No such remediation for F&F exists.

No - they will go out of their way to enforce it - as opposed to immigration laws, for example.

Why do you think I'm an "opponent of the 2nd Amendment? Even Justice Scalia has stated (in the D.C. decision I believe) that it allows some degree of regulation.
I have no objection to law abiding citizens owning a gun.
