this all boils down to communication. his staffers failed him IMO. I don't put this solely on obama.
i'm sure some of them knew that there was a wedding taking place and they didn't think it was that important.

So the WH staff couldn't have found another golf course for Caesar to get his 18 holes in on?
I mean even if a private course wasn't willing to comp him, the guy pulls down $400k in salary alone. I think he can afford the greens fees.

You do realize golf courses have event planners that handle this don't you? The WH staff would have called the course and the course could have told the WH staff what events were planned for that day. It's not like there aren't 100 other courses King Barry could have played.

that is some expensive real estate. The military can go play on a public course as far as I am concerned

The Pentagon currently operates at least 194 golf courses and 2,874 holes of golf worldwide.

While I doubt he was aware and thus don't put any blame for the mishap, i do wonder why the wedding had to be relocated.. What security measures necessistat the need for venue change from a military base.

Yes, it quotes said planner in the article as saying the couple was warned this was a possibility.

They could have, and the course could have also not told them about it. Who knows? I'm guessing the course didn't tell his staff seeing as how they already had alternate plans in place for the couple in the event Obama wanted to play golf there.
