Again, most incompetent administration in history. Good job of dick riding Obama though.

Wow, this is so very typical of Obama. He never takes responsiblity for anything does he?

Didn't he call the people afterwards?

First, I doubt Obama knew about it and said "yeah, make them move it."

That said, do I think he's different from other presidents who would foster a culture of making sure they know stuff like this? I do.

does it bother anyone else that we have a military golf course in hawaii?

I have no problem with it. They serve this country and put themselves in harms way. They deserve every bit of it.

you must not care about the deficit then?

I have no issue with the military having golf courses. I have issue with the military having golf courses on really expensive real estate.

I could go along with this.

And, in fairness, how often does one have to worry about a wedding ceremony being performed on one of the holes when you're trying to play?

Yeah I agree.

Not to make this Bush-Obama, but I do think Bush was the type of guy who made it clear he wanted opportunities to make Americans happy (and get good PR that comes with it).

I think Obama is far more likely to have made it clear that his staff is the shield he uses to avoid public interaction (which all Presidents do, I just think his is a bigger obstacle).

I do care about the deficit. But I think that a lot of other things can be trimmed out before you start taking benefits from soldiers.

I see no problem here and it doesn't seem the bride and groom had a problem with it either. I have issues with about 90% of what Obama does but not this.

On a side note, how many freakin rounds of golf does he get to play per year? I feel like I get to play a lot and I probably play about 40 times per year. I would assume my job (Pete Engineer) would afford me a lot more time than the president of the United States to play golf, but apparently I am wrong.

per the golf counter for obama, its about 35x per year. So about once every 10 days.

This is a very popular myth around here

Do I think his handlers should have taken notice of this? Yeah, probably, given that the military already dislikes him for various reasons and this is yet another middle finger at them, intentional or not, given that bride and groom are both officers.

You clearly know nothing about the military.

The military doesn't like or dislike the commander in chief

The military does what it's told.

Yes, but how many less unnecessary, multi-trillion dollars wars has he started? The two JUST MIGHT balance each other out.

It's not just the wedding party that may have been inconvenienced. What do you think happened to anyone who had a tee time scheduled for when Obama wanted to play? Do you think there may have been some other service members who had to alter their plans so Obama could play a round of golf? It's not like soldiers, sailors and airmen have the flexibility to take off duty time to play a round of golf whenever they would like. For many they have to make plans well in advance, even on weekends.
