Yeah. It's a fairly ridiculous position.
But it does make sense to me that if someone can (in effect) vote more taxes for "that dude over there" then everyone's goes up.

I support abolishing the income tax so for all intents and purposes most of these people would not be paying any taxes anyway.

Yeah! And all the non-landowners can count as 3/5 of a person towards representation. This is a brilliant idea that's never been considered or tried before.

I want to apologize to the posters in this thread for bringing my personal life in here. Sometimes I feel some of your views aren't based in reality. I wonder if some of these stances would be so hard line if it involved a family member or if you would put old or sick people out. I mentioned my situation to put somewhat of a face on the issue. If voting strictly on property ownership, then you'd have to eliminate taxes of every other sort for anyone who didn't own property.
You are now faced with putting the nation's entire financial burden solely on land owning citizens versus taxation without representation (if you abolish income tax only).
I can appreciate a different point of view as it pertains to our tax/voting issues and solutions provided to fix those issues...but either way your method isn't feasible.

What are you going to do when you realize that along that voting chart you'll have rights one hell of a lot more akin to a snaggle-tooth crackwhore than you do with a multimillionaire?
