That's certainly true. Her $$$ is about to dry up.

Mary's best chance was this coming down to the last seat needed to win the senate Would have brought Obama and Clinton to beat the streets of New orleans to bring out the minority vote.

Not gonna happen. Now she's going to try to further dissassociate with O and try to appear as conservative as she can and hope nobody notices her voting record.

Its in the bag unless Cassidy does something majorly stupid.

Yea, sucks that she can't take out a mortgage on her parent's basement to add to her warchest.

Also, if Republicans think it is in the bag they might not show up like they did this time. Everyone needs to vote.

80% of success is showing up...so everyone SHOW UP and vote.

Landriue wasnt the deciding vote on Obamcare in the past. She is done. The people will show up in droves to send her that message.

Did I hear this correctly? I think I heard on the news this AM that Landrieu only received 18% of the white vote. I am guessing that is based on exit interviews because I don't think there are official numbers out there. That seems way too low to me. I understand that is not her base, but if that is true, that's amazing. I guess the racist, sexist vote came out.

I think people underestimate the laziness of voters. The election is on a Saturday during hunting season and on a pretty big college football day. The turnout will be low and you can bet Mary will have the buses rolling around the state.

According to The Advocate this morning, Maness has already called Cassidy & it should be safe to presume he was offering his help/support. Landrieu, in her speech last nite, was all over Maness & his family for having "the courage to step up & speak his mind"; i.e. she was sucking up to him. With her losing her stroke now that the Republicans will be taking over all the chairmanships, she has little to offer the state.Hopefully now Bollinger & his big $$ types will now leave her camp.

This won't happen until she is unseated. They are going to stick with their money stream until it's gone then jump ship to Bill if he wins.

Not to mention that a big part of his support, and the anti-Mary sentiment, was really about control of the Senate. Now that the R's control the Senate, some of Cassidy voters who were really just anti-Harry Reid voters, may take a second look at Cassidy and wonder if he would really be better than Landrieu

Cancelled out by the fact that the one big thing Mary had going for her that she could tout in this race (chairmanship of the Energy committee) is now gone with the wind.

Maness said last night he called them both. His voters will have to get out Dec.6th though. A lot of people are acting like this thing is in the bag and that could be the thing that keeps them home.
