I was really hoping he was gonna kill Louis Chama because John Saxon was on American Sportsman killing starving leopards.

This all talk.

You have to start voting like you believe this.

I voted Gary Johnson 3rd party in 2012 thus walking the walk.

Republicans have only gotten 1 Presidential vote from me (fricking McCain ). Democrats have never gotten a vote from me. I vote at every election.

OTOH, I have heard that if the 16y/o doesn't actually enjoy the rape, she'll be able to shut her reproductive system down and won't get pregnant. Maybe that's papasmurf1269's contention.
Is giving the baby up for adoption not an option rather than kill it?

I'm not a Republican. I'm a conservative. In Texas, voters don't have to register as being affiliated with any party, but I would register as an Independent if I had to choose.

I realize that Duvall probably isn't switching to the Democrat Party. My comment was intended to counter any attempt by liberals to use this in their favor, because the Dem Party is definitely on life support in 2014.

And this is why the gop is slaughtered on social issues.

Way I don't understand is, why is anybody against banning late-term abortions? Make an exception for health of the mother, and otherwise prohibit late term/partial birth abortions.

Why would anybody be against doing that?

It is the way the majority of people feel. Not just me. I am all for making some exceptions to the abortion law.

Polls say differently. Voting gap between gop and dems with women voters say differently.
Abortion is legal, with exceptions. Not the other way around.

You have GOT to be kidding!
A high school girl being required to carry the progeny of a rape to term, to put it up for adoption?
That is "the way the majority of people feel"?
Really?

Look,I don't have all the answers to this complex issue, but it seems wrong to kill a baby when you can give it to a family that may want a child.

So what's your argument? First you say you have the majority on your side, now you say you have "what's right" on your side. Truth is, you simply can't admit when your side has lost on an issue. It's really no different than progressives and gun control.

Right backatya!

You're reading comprehension is exceptionally poor. I made no argument for or against abortion. I simply pointed out the extreme example you (poorly) chose to use.

Noticed you avoided the question of how many abortions are the direct result of rape.

There is no debating what his position is. He stated it. He said he believed in the right of a woman to choose. Does not get more straightforward than that.

well to be fair

if a person is against abortion b/c they believe it is an act against the baby, then allowing an exception for rape/incest is hypocritical. that is the issue with how the debate is framed

Don't know what else to tell you. I believe abortion is wrong, but I am open to some exceptions.

That's fine but don't pretend your position is the passion of the masses. While we are at it, start recognizing that this is part of the reason the GOP is leading with young people and women. They believe in a right to choose, period.
