How can you be for small government, yet claim its alright to tell people what they can or cant put into their body (drugs), who they can marry, or if they can have an abortion?
I support drug legalization. I support gay marriage and polygamy and any marriage contract between 2, or more, consenting adults. I don't support abortion because I view it as murder. Does supporting laws against murder make you a big government supporter?
The biggest is the death penalty/abortion one. Both parties have, life is sacred unless its not sacred.
I understand this argument but I don't see the inconsistency. One is about protecting innocent life the other is about punishing convicted criminals.
I don't see the inconsistency on it from the Democratic perspective either. To them, a fetus isn't life and thus has no right to protection while a criminal, no matter what they have done, do.
