I just told Mike Johnson in conference that I’m cosponsoring the Motion to Vacate that was introduced by @RepMTG.

He should pre-announce his resignation (as Boehner did), so we can pick a new Speaker without ever being without a GOP Speaker.

Democrats have gotten more and more crazy and basically been in power since 2008.

More GOP nonsense. There's not one person they'll rally behind to lead the party, just like last time, yet morons like MTG will keep bitching and cause more chaos in an important election year.

The Dems are weak as hell right now but the GOP does whatever it can to make sure they're not liked by undecided voters.

If this somehow happens, Matt Gaetz will go down as engineering one of the dumbest forms of virtue signaling in American political history

Right wingers all want "conservative purity". They also all want to individually define conservatism.

There is a reason it stands for Government Opposed to the People.

Why? Is it not the responsibility of the leaders in the party to hold those accountable for their actions? All Speaker Johnson had to do was keep his word. Strange how every Republican Speaker can't just do what they say they are going to do.

Why?

Going form McCarthy to Johnson to Jefferies.

I already called it virtue signaling.

Which was not possible. Same as why KM couldn't. Smart people told y'all this was going to happen when Gaetz was virtue signalling.

It's called being in a position of weakness.

Truth.

Now my question is to the few here, is Thomas Massie now bad?

Long term "I was right and I have receipts" scenario.

Nobody is saying he's bad.

He's not perfect, though.

That's how nuance works...the people demanding ideological purity could learn from it.

Bs. He is the Speaker. You act like he is powerless.

So you're saying he is a dishonest piece of shite? In other words, he's an elected official.

I'm talking about Congress and the Oval Office, only. Radicals have co-opted the executive branch and the law but that's a seperate issue.
