You act like he is powerless.

He faces a Senate controlled by the DEMs and a DEM President.

He has little power to do anything against that.

All he can do is force a shutdown, which he and the GOP will be blamed for and it will hurt the efforts even further.

We will never be able to purge the government and the law of the ideological capture without controlling Congress.

The weakness is the feckless Republicans that vote with Democrats. But if a Speaker says he WILL NOT bring a Ukraine aid package to the floor, he better not do it. Even if it holds up money for the border or Israel. The Democrats and Rhinos NEVER have their feet held to the fire because Republicans ALWAYS cave. Just like government shutdowns. Let it freaking happen and stand in front of the American people WHY it happened?

Saying nothing would change and ousting KM via the DEMs was virtue signaling was wrong how?

There's not one person they'll rally behind to lead the party, just like last time, yet morons like MTG will keep bitching and cause more chaos in an important election year.

But it raises her profile for conservatives across the country, allowing her to bring in more money/donations.

That’s really her primary goal. Governing is just a side irritation.

In a House where he only has a one or two vote majority, he is. If he had a 20 vote majority, he could tell his detractors to go frick themselves. Anyone who's followed congressional politics for longer than 15 minutes knows this.

Schumer is the Senate majority leader. You think he has any fricking power without Sinema and Manchin???

So now who is next?

Who is “America First” AND can get the necessary votes amongst his/her peers to be elected?
