I guess. Assuming he is who I think, his father was one of the more renowned progressive political science professors in the 60s and 70s, and something of an important figure at Cornell. After the Willard Straight Hall takeover in 1969, he was (I believe) the only professor in the government department who argued for clemency for the students. He was widely ostracized, and ended up killing himself in 1970. I think his elder son found his body (Caleb). The Government Department at the time was widely renowned as among the best in the country, but never fully recovered from the departure of those professors who were outraged that these students essentially faced no punishment.
Interesting story, really. I believe Caleb marched with the black panthers. Has something of a radical history.

I'm sad I missed this. He could really blow his top off like no other on this board. If something like this upsets him, I'd hate to see his reaction to the misleading Obama admin/redskins thread.

Where have you all been? Climate Justice isnt anything new, they have been spouting it off for over a decade now. people just miss it in all the articles about AGW because they are not looking at the details of what the progressives have been doing.
