The PC-USA does not believe Jesus was a Prophet. They believe Jesus was/is the only begotten son of God and part of the Godhead. Their invited guest said that prayer and that guy should be ashamed of himself. He was invited as a show of concern but used it to make his own point.

Check out their website and there are several statements of belief that are very traditional Reformed theology.

Google it. I did.

Plus, at least two Presbyterians have already shown up in this thread confirming the event.

I googled it, lots of hits from end-of-the-world fringe websites, 0 credible sites.

It happened. It just wasn't the Presbyterian church. They invited a Muslim and the Muslim went off on his own thing.

Under what set of guiding principles do you make this polemic?

Here's a fair article that tells what really happened and has the pc Usa apology and response. I agree the end times sites ate this up.

Good for PCUSA, they are showing the love of Christ.

Thanks, now I remember reading about it. Especially the fights over the churches. I believe this has also happened within other denominations.
Very interesting.

People are longing for some orthodoxy that transcends the ever-changing whims of society. I admire the RC church's history but can't agree with their theology. Orthodoxy can be found elsewhere.
