Do you believe that God has any interest in politics generally or American politics specifically?

I honestly cant see where God would choose sides and intervene in any political race or debate. It seems to be a complete operation of the free will of man.

If you think I am wrong, tell me where I am missing the truth.

I agree 100% if god had something to do with politics he has a sick sinse of humor.

Both sides have good and bad stances. I think GOD would just ask both sides to look to HIM for advice on what to do.

Yes, God is sovereign over all things, big and small, "important" and "unimportant".

God raises up kings and He casts them down.

Please tell me a single good stance on the Democrat side. I honestly can't find a single good stance they aren't forced to pretend to adapt.

God places leaders both good and evil in power to serve His purpose. Eventually the Anti-christ will rise to power during the time ofJacob's trouble and all will be required to worship him or put to death. Pray that you will not be put to the test.

Kings perhaps. But what about democratically elected officials? Do we have no free will to exercise in these cases?

If you believe the Bible, God has a hand in who rules who. The problem is that we have no idea what His plans are and whether He wants us to have a good ruler or get smacked down. He selected Nebuchadnezzar just as surely as David.

As a lifelong Episcopalian, I know that I am redeemed by the grace of God and the blood sacrifice of His son, our savior, Jesus Christ. I fear nothing.

God is sovereign over all things, including the "will of the people".

Do you think Jesus' execution was an accident? Recall that the "will of the people" choosing Barabbas over Jesus ultimately led to Jesus' execution, yet the whole thing was orchestrated by God before He created the heavens and the earth.

All I know is a real Christian doesn't vote Democrat.

God doesn't support abortion.

FAKE Christians vote Democrat.

Did I indicate who I was voting for? I asked a philosophical question.

As a Calvinist (or semi-Calvinist?), I do believe God ordains all things. So Trump's election was His will.

However - by that same token - Obama winning elections twice was also His will. There are some Christians who seem to think that God only makes good things happen but never is in charge of the bad things. No - He is in charge of all.

God does not support the party that thinks it's ok for a woman to kill this:
