in fact if someone asked him to clarify, I 100% believe he would tell them he was referring to christ.

no doubt in my mind.

robertson is saying they need to convert (to christ) or the government needs to kill them

it's not hard to figure out. you just don't want to hear it.

So say we kill every current member of ISIS. What then? Y'all do realize another radical group will just form and continue the cyle, right?

So if we convert them it would be better than the current plan of killing them. #fightwithPhil

Except that he didn't say that.

Now try again. Tell me why I should believe that's what he meant.

Tell me why we should believe that's not what he meant? You have an openly devout Christian saying a radical religious group should convert or be killed. I don't think it's that unreasonable to think he implied converting to Christianity. I don't necessarily believe that's what he meant, but the statement was pretty ambiguous and open for interpretation, so I don't think it's unreasonable to conclude that's what he meant.

because phil is an evangelical fundamentalist christian.

that's exactly what he's talking about. you're being obtuse. I don't know why you don't want to be truthful about this.

Well from what I read, I did not see anywhere un your post where he said convert them to christians

Could he have meant convert them ( FROM TERRORISTS ) or kill them?

I mean you know it alls seem to be able to read peoples minds.

do you honestly believe he was talking about anything else?

I think that's exactly what he was talking about and would have no problem clarifying his answer if asked.

Is that a specific denomination? Did he apply that label or did you? And do all people that are considered "evangelical fundamentalist christians" think the same way?

Again, you're totally admitting your prejudice.

Of course he would want the to convert to Christianity if he had the choice. Afterall, he is a Christian and wants to save people. He also knows that the only alternative to ISIS converting ( to anything else than what they are) is they have to be killed.

I think Phil wants them to convert to anything and give up their Jihad or whatever and of course being a Christian he is bias but its not like he said Christianity was their only option. I dont see how he can be criticized for that.

Because these people hate Christianity more than murderous IS. It's the only logical assumption from this thread even if they didn't say it outright.

they believe the only way to heaven is through jesus christ.

phil wasn't referring to buddha when he said ISIS needs to convert or be killed by the (implied) military.

You are. You insinuate that if ISIS converted to Buddhism he would still want them killed because they did not convert to Christianity

ok you're just being a troll. I guess you don't understand that he's an evangelical fundy christian who believes what he believes in is the only true religion. that's what he's implying in his statement.

and if he were asked to clarify, i have no doubt he would. what would you think then?

keep making excuses for his illogical thought process though.

Exactly. Why has Phil not said a peep about converting/killing the billions of Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, atheists, moderate Muslims, etc etc etc
