Why would you want to convert anybody? I mean of course ISIS are terrorists and such. But nobody's religion is better than others. These are just murderous thugs.

Well you're doing the same thing by saying he didn't say converting to Christianity. The "convert" part of his statement is pretty ambiguous, and is open to interpretation. Convert to what? He didn't say Christianity just like he didn't say a more peaceful form of Islamism.

Come on people. An important clarifying statement was left off of the quote. He started the comment with "In this case…". He's not saying go convert or kill the muslims. He is referring to one particular case where a group of particular muslims are being merciless and cutting the heads off of people. This knee jerk reaction crap is why we can no longer have a logical debate in this country.
