Even if you don't agree with his views, you should respect him for speaking his mind publicly.
I respect anyone who uses his right to free speech no matter how big of an asshat he makes himself appear to be.

The fact that there was backlash from people believing he actually wanted to kill everybody he couldn't convert to Christianity makes it sound like there's a bunch of christaphobic morons running around.
He did leave himself open to that interpretation no matter how stupid the interpretation was.

Because his comments, as ridiculous as they often are, create discussion such as this thread. Hannity knows that when he brings him on. Plus, he pisses off the other side.
ratings equals dollars.

he's backtracking after he made his original comments. doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
Shhh Karla actually thinks that he isn't...don't ruin it for him.

The sad commentary on this country, KCT, is that a man that makes duck calls is a hero and political sage for thousands upon thousands of citizens of this nation. I'm not denigrating the man, he's obviously done well in his vocation.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but this comment: quote: and do it to my face, when I'm online. made me LOL.
I chuckled too.

I never said the man was either a hero or a political sage, juice terry. I sad commentary on you that you felt the need to create a false narrative regarding the subject of this thread.

If their gaffs weren't buried on the back of page 10, I might have.
Reid and Wasserman were front page on Fox.com. Just as they were front page on Huffpo.

Just wondering to myself what have you done to think so highly of yourself

What's worse is that millions look to a community organizer for guideance.

Joe, I've organized more communities than you could even count. I'm an authority on all this shite.

Fine. Point taken.
But there is another difference.
Shultz and Reid's apologies will be accepted by the MSM. Phil's never will be.

Wasn't Obama a community origanizer? Don't millions look to him for guideance? That's what I thought.

Who?

quote:please. Stop with the nonsense. Some people accept apologies, some don't. The fact that you try to differentiate between the msm and Fox/Breitbart/etc. is just bullshite.
Shultz and Reid's apologies will be accepted by the MSM. Phil's never will be.
Alec Baldwin has stepped in it many times. He has apologized. I can tell you that many liberals don't accept his apologies.
Phil is barely in the MSM. Let's not confuse entertainment reporting with real hard news reporting.
