And by the way, to everyone who thinks I'm a bleeding heart, I made a thread yesterday bashing Jimmy Kimmel for his opinions. I think that we can have a reasonable debate about this without calling the other side unfeeling or stupid (ignorant fine, but that's not really an insult IMO). I think that more extensive background checks at least on the surface isn't horrible when you buy 30+ guns in a year and that is at least worthy of a discussion.

What would wrong with, let's say about the third time I fill out the paperwork for a AK or AR type rifle that someone knocks on my door to see what the frick is up? Maybe not 3, maybe 3 puts me on a watch list and the scrutiny gets heightened with subsequent purchases.....oh yeah, now I remember....no one but the retail FFL keeps those records....because it's forbidden for any government to do it....but there is nothing we can do.....

What could be wrong is exactly why laws were passed to keep such record keeping off limits to the government. Too many dishonest, ignorant, thoughtless hacks voted in by similarly characterized people, like yourself, would use that info in the course of a retroactive ban on the possession of such weapons. It's happened before, so frick you and those that think like you.

Anyone who believes the Vegas Pysop is a fricking moron who has never seen real shootings.

Vegas has more cameras than Hollywood. There would be video of bodies being mowed down. Leaked left and right.

And there would be actual tons of bodies.

Real shootings have real pics of gore and tons of bodies.

And you know it's a problem when MSM starts complaining about Youtube right away and saying it's not a hoax...why do you have to defend a real tragedy? Vs. a Pysop?

A real tragedy can eventually stand on its own.

Not...

But the MSM went batshite denouncing Youtube videos like the above and saying - just trust us...it's real - we can't show piles of bodies because of privacy (which has never ever ever happened in real massacres before).

Are you honestly arguing that this was a faked false flag incident, and anyone who doesn't believe that is a moron?

Unless you're trolling, out of all the asinine theories I've seen in all these various incidents, nothing comes close to the absurdity of this.

I mean the shooting occurred at a concert with 22,000 people in attendance, including famous artists and musicians. And given the very public placement of this shooting, and the hotel, there are multiple people, including myself who actually know people who were at or near the incident.

So when you include all of the people who would have to be complicit or aware of a cover up (concert attendees, people at hotel, people on strip, all law enforcement, security, first responders, hospital staff, local government workers, state government workers, federal government workers up to the highest level), and all their connections who would be at-risk of knowing, you're probably raining HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people.

I really hope you're trolling, and if not, I hope someone is close by to keep an eye on your personal state and well-being because this is too disturbingly far from reality to ignore.

shaking my damn head...I knew morons like you would begin to crawl out of the woodwork again.

Meanwhile Vegas plans for 59 funerals...and 500 people face years of physical and mental recovery.

So what should be the wait time between purchases for a collector? Are you then going to apply that same wait period to coin collectors, card collectors, precious metals, motorcycles, autos, movies, knives, sports memorabilia, paintings, etc, etc, etc?

My gun safe is significantly larger than my fridge and here I am not going crazy.

A government standard stating an individual has too much of anything scares the hell out of me.

So you don't trust your local sheriff? You are not responsible enough to make certain the Sherrie in your area isn't a corrupt hack?

No holes in that argument, unless there was a war between collector factions.

I just thought of a bit of good gun policy through this: you're immediately flagged by the FBI for buying more than 3 guns in a year. It doesn't mean you're on a terror watch list or you can't buy more, but you automatically get a call from the FBI to where you have to carefully explain why you're buying 30 fricking guns.

I want this stupidity bumped.
