If Obama is so confident about our military's ability to fight off an airborne disease perhaps he and his cabinet can visit for a couple of days our troops in Liberia in the villages he is sending our troops too.

Reading comprehension can be your friend, or not.

My first reaction to this was "what in the actual frick"

Second reaction was "this is so goddamn stupid, there has to be an ulterior motive"

Thinking about it, perhaps the logic is if we can contain the outbreak there, we can help prevent it from spreading to someplace that matters. If that's not the logic, then I don't know what the point is. Sending troops over there to contract ebola to save people who think you can cure syphilis by eating dirt doesn't rank high on my humanitarian scale. If we just want to help people and spend money, there are plenty of shitty places right here in the US that can use it.

Screw that. No visas to anyone from there and no travel for any non-US citizen who's been there in the past 30 days. Spend out money tracking that.

Unless they are going over in planes to napalm the entire region from the air into a fiery hell, I don't want our boys anywhere near that cesspool.

Hey moron, wipe your boyfriend's cum out your eyes and reread the article- "included" generally does not mean "limited to"

why would we send the literal WORST disciplined group that we have, into a situation that requires ABSOLUTE discipline..

National Guard?

Why not the active duty military?

They already have about 600 active duty there now.

Sources earlier told NBC News that eight engineers and logistical specialists from the Guard, both active-duty and reservists, would probably be included in the first deployment. They are expected to help build 17 Ebola treatment centers, with 100 beds apiece. The sources said no decision had yet been made.

We don't have an Ebola problem in this country. Africa does. There are experimental drugs right now and treatment. If the drugs and treatment work, we'll need treatment facilities. I don't understand why the people who fear Ebola the most get so upset with combating the problem where its worse and before it gets here.

Normally I would not respond to such an immature prick as you, however I'm bored.

Included does indeed indicate that the constituent parts being referenced do not, singly comprise the whole. It is absolutely possible that subset a)Engineers and subset b)logistics specialists do in fact comprise the whole of the deployment they have been INCLUDED in.

Thus ends your instruction in the English language, reading comprehension and just plain common sense. Good day, homophobe.
