I'd pull a "Swede", and tell the company commander, I'll wait outside for the MP's. Because I'm not going to Liberia.

Included does indeed indicate that the constituent parts being referenced do not, singly comprise the whole. It is absolutely possible that subset a)Engineers and subset b)logistics specialists do in fact comprise the whole of the deployment they have been INCLUDED in. Thus ends your instruction in the English language, reading comprehension and just plain common sense. Good day, homophobe.
Sweet, a classic Liberal triple whammy
1) parsing language at the expense of common sense
2) a sense of academic superiority not grounded in reality
3) claiming the other side of the debate is bigoted.

I have no problem with this as long as Liberia pays us back somehow.
How about they "pay us back" by staying the frick out of our country.

Then it looks as if we won't be getting re-paid.

I agree. We need to impeach this fraud. Problem is Congress won't listen. I've pleaded with my U. S. Congressman and Senators to impeach this imbecile. Nothing! Figure it'll take a major outbreak of Ebola to get some action. But by then it may be too late.
Pat Buchanan is right. Obama's version of political correctness could kill a lot of us. Do we want to risk that?
Are we on the verge of a perfect storm? Washington politicians looking to get elected, just a Ebola is blowing up. Can't get a travel ban passed. Can't get obama impeached. Not good!
IMPEACH THE FRAUD NOW!

Experts that deal with this daily? or......
Troops who meet up every once in a while?
Which one would you feel more comfortable with?
We're so smart at times, but so dumb sometimes
Recipe for disaster here

quote:
By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including sections 121 and 12304 of title 10, United States Code, I hereby determine that it is necessary to augment the active Armed Forces of the United States for the effective conduct of Operation United Assistance, which is providing support to civilian-led humanitarian assistance and consequence management support related to the Ebola virus disease outbreak in West Africa. In furtherance of this operation, under the stated authority, I hereby authorize the Secretary of Defense, and the Secretary of Homeland Security with respect to the Coast Guard when it is not operating as a service in the Navy, under their respective jurisdictions, to order to active duty any units, and any individual members not assigned to a unit organized to serve as a unit of the Selected Reserve, or any member in the Individual Ready Reserve mobilization category and designated as essential under regulations prescribed by the Secretary concerned, and to terminate the service of those units and members ordered to active duty.

I read somewhere that it's not being classified as a "deployment" but rather "a temporary reassignment" so the families aren't getting the usual assistance granted during these situations.
I can't find the article now but I'll keep looking. Some of the Army wives were pissed.
