Why are Christian nut jobs like you so obsessed with homosexuality? Is it to compensate for the pervasive history of priests molesting young boys?
I am not a nut job, alright so please stop with that nonsense that is divisive
I am not obsessed homosexuality like you may believe.
I just chime in on these threads from time to time. they are somewhat interesting, but often end up going pages upon pages of arguing and cutting down of others. Not interesting. This forum is hard to communicate so I think that should be recognized as well
The political correctness culture no longer allows for apposing views or comments on Gay Marriage or lifestyle.
I think that's just as wrong as belittling homosexuals

Here we go.
Someone who doesn't support gays and gay marraige is an intolerant bigot, but you are going to make just as big a generalization about a group.
Homosexuality is gross. That is my opinion. I don't think they should be allowed to marry from a personal view. But from my political views I don't know that it is right to ban them from getting married.
But once again, here we are arguing tooth and nail over like 4 percent of the population. Let's bend a social moral construct of heterosexual marraige to fit the narrative of a few oddballs.

We the People ordain the Constitution. All 50 states ratified an amendment that prohibits a same-sex marriage ban.
You have lost this battle. Now, melt.

In the meantime, you work on that puberty explaination

I've read your post three times trying to make sense of it but cannot find anything resembling a point to it.

I called BS from the moment you said that you liked women.

You just can't be this f*cking stupid.
Show me where the Constitution mentions anything about gay marriage being a Constitutional right. Show me where it was ever contemplated. Let me guess, you just think we missed it for over 150 years. It was RIGHT THERE, we just all missed it. And, when you couldn't get your political agenda passed in a Constitutional manner, someone just went back and looked at the language, and voila', it was right there all along.
The pro-gay rights mafia is simply attempting (mainly through threats and intimidation) to get morally, ethically, and intellectually bankrupt judges to invent a Constitutional right out out whole cloth where no right has ever existed or was ever intended to exist.

Ted Olson is the gay mafia? Wonder if Barbara knew.

In my worldview, Christians are just too stupid to take seriously. Not all of them, but a great many, believe in the writings of a Semitic desert culture from thousands of years ago.
Is that who we want voting on the world that our children will one day live in?
That's why, morally, we should ban Christians from voting. I get that many will disagree with me, but them's ma beliefs.

My opinion...
The government should sponsor civil unions (not marriages). The whole "sanctity of marriage" argument is laughable when the divorce rate is ~50%. And for the people fuming that are happily married and believe it is sacred, good for you. But it's sacred because it was a church marriage, not because the government sponsored it.
You want to get married in a church, great. You can then get a civil union and enjoy the tax benefits.
You're gay and get married, great. You can then get a civil union and enjoy the tax benefits.
You're a single mother and your sister that has no spouse and kids live together so that you can afford housing, food, etc and raise the child/children together, great. You can then get a civil union and enjoy the tax benefits.

Here's what you stated --

Surely, you would agree that these states all knew that when they voted for whatever amendments you plan to throw against the wall to see what sticks (like SH!T), they knew what they were voting for, right?
So, show us where gay marriage was EVER CONTEMPLATED by any Constitutional amendment and isn't just some perverted reading of an amendment that had absof*ckinglutely nothing to do with gay marriage. In 1973, the Supreme Court said that it wasn't even a federal issue in the Minnesota case.

Ball, I know you probably won't like scripture quoted in response to your post but if God is not permitted into the conversation, then what "moral code or value" are we actually talking about?
A code we created for ourselves? Really?
One his existence is hardly something you can hang your hat on.
Two, it is insulting to most people that you think we are only moral because some old white guy with a beard is threatening us with an existence of damnation.
smh
