This is false. Nobody is born gay. People are born with sexually attractions examples: gays, pedophiles, beastility, Necrophilia, and many other abnormal sexual attractions. It is your choice to act upon them. Doing and thinking something is two different things. If you think about pushing your coworker off a cliff but never do it this does not make you a murderer.

I dont think you understand, this isnt a moral or scientific argument. It is literally just an error in semantics on your part.

Nice link to a dictionary. Great insight.

Why? If Revelator has repented He will be forgiven by God. Not my problem.

Not true. I have a friend, I can't say anymore than that, in the Bama athletic department who knows people. According to him, God never forgives or forgets. In fact, he hates us. Take it for what it's worth, just relaying the message. You heard it here first.

So if you really believe in the Bible, perhaps you should be starting threads telling divorcees, like Revelator, that their lifestyle is against God?

Do you dream of me at night Vegas, because I seem to be constantly in your head?!

You're being inconsistent. If a divorcee who remarries and then repents is forgiven, and is all good, then why isn't a homosexual who repents?

My wife committed adultery after a 27 year marriage, which is biblical grounds for divorce and she also sought out the divorce even though I was willing to remain married and work through it. Vegas already knows this, but his hatred of me and his lack of understanding concerning scripture drives him to repeat this fallacy over and over again. I don't have anything to repent about concerning my divorce because I wasn't the offender.
And to answer your question, repentance means renouncing something and attempting to not commit the same act with the power of the Holy Spirits help.
If a gay person tries to abstain from sex, and in his heart makes a conscience effort to do so, he can be clean before God.
The gay person who continues having homosexual sex because he chooses to obey his lust over God will be judged accordingly.

I'd say that's a low blow, but considering the subject of the thread . . . well . . .

Well I'm not going to read this whole thread but I'll say this; being gay hurts no one. People are definitely born gay, I was. I'm gay and certainly didn't choose my "lifestyle" as some call it. Being born gay has been a blessing though once I accepted who I was. It's made me a more compassionate person because I've realized you never know what someone may be going through that they don't speek about, so I don't judge people based on their vices. We're all just trying to make it in this crazy thing we call life; we have the same wants and needs no matter your skin color, religion or sexual orientation.

Great post. Unfortunately too many individuals' minds are made up about this issue (and many others).

You have deep seeded issues you need to work out, and I really do hope you get it figured out one day. Until then I'll continue to get a good chuckle at your posts.
