A lot of this is very good advice and I'm trying to take it all in. Sadly though many of you confirmed my very fear, that unless I'm willing to bang some 400 lb woman beast that I'm essentially screwed.

This point should be dismissed entirely.
If you are too high strung and nervous to function at the plate, choosing to not swing isn't going to help. The OP's (if not a troll) current attitudes about dating and sex need to be torn down and deprogrammed. That's not going to happen until he can stop over thinking it.

Dude, there's a woman under 160 pounds for every guy. You just have to look in the right places. Also, you have to know the league you're playing in. You can't be a Single A hitter going up against major league pitching and expect a homer.
