For those who believe Islam is a religion of peace. Can you please explain how the following results reflect a religion based on peaceful principles (equality, freedom of belief, etc.)

Polling was conducted by Pew Research. Questionnaires were given at random and in person in all of the homes of individuals involved. I would be happy to discuss the validity of the study with regard to the methods. You can find the methods on page 147 of the full study linked here... Full PDF of study

Let's try to avoid the usual...
"you don't know anything about Islam"
"how many Muslims have you met"
Etc.

polls are legit again? I really can't keep up with when they are legit and when they are fake news. It seems to change daily. Hell, I've seen it change in the same day.

If I didn't know better I would begin to think it is just based on whether the poll results agree with the posters beliefs.

Properly conducted polls are legit

Again, please feel free to review the methods of this poll linked in the OP and offer your critiques.

Liberals refuse to acknowledge these polls, and most don't know these polls exist Bc the media ignores their existence. Bill Maher does not ignore them, his show with Ben Affleck is the reason I heard of these polls

Hmmm how does this fit in to the common narrative that western intervention has fueled radical movements

May I interject that staunch "moderate" Muslim countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Sudan were NOT included in this poll?

Pew research does most of their polling face to face.

As much as I like seeing negative information on Islam I just can't trust polls where Muslims are concerned. It's a legitimate teaching in Islam to deceive infidels in order to advance their faith. We just can't trust them.

He's known it for awhile ... he's just waiting on the right time to unleash the hounds.

Watch the documentary on YouTube, free, 3 Days in Beslan, narrated by Julia Roberts.

Breaking up the USSR was probably a blessing in a way for Russia, as it shed all those Turkic areas.

Are you suggesting that the results under or over represent muslim feelings on the desire for sharia law?

There are threads currently on this board asking why we can't have a white nation. There are psychos in every walk of life.

Additionally, there is no religion that is a religion of peace. Why would you single out Islam other than the nonstop propaganda compels you to as it is intended.

Oh I don't know why anyone would ever associate Islam with violence. It just befuddles me.

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything in the OP.

While I could make a strong argument against this (Jainism), I will play along and say there is no completely peaceful religion...

Why does that lead you to believe that one religion can't be more or less peaceful than others? Your statement is not logical. Just because there is no completely peaceful religion, doesn't mean that a certain religion can't lead to more violence than others
