"Sources with links to the intelligence community say it is believed that Carter Page went to Moscow in early July carrying with him a pre-recorded tape of Donald Trump offering to change American policy if he were to be elected, to make it more favorable to Putin. In exchange, Page was authorized directly by Trump to request the help of the Russian government in hacking the election."

"It is believed"..for one thing it would be totally insane to put anything like that on tape. It would be strictly word of mouth only.

And how would that being any different than Barry being caught on tape telling the Russians, that if he is re-elected he can be more flexible with them??????

Carter was able to get a tape but the NSA, FBI, and GCHQ couldn't.

Yep. In no way does it make any sense at all that Trump would offer a quid pro quo arrangement. It's completely implausible.
Idiotic crap like this distracts from the real story, which is that Trump had decades of links to well connected Russian oligarchs, and that it is likely that they were feeding information or suggestions to the campaign.
There was almost certainly no illegal exchange. The potential corruption being investigated is that after years of profitable business ties, Trump was receptive to Russian influence and just didn't say anything about it.
