Rand is a necessary no. I see it as him seeing the political winds and more people that vote like him coming into office in the near future.

If as a whole if congress is making small steps in the right direction and there are sufficient votes to allow Rand to make these ideological votes I’m okay with it. The problem is when his ideology jeopardizes steps in the right direction.

He’s our Ideological hero . He’s 100% philosophically correct . And because of that rigid adherence to ideological purity, he ensures that my health insurance will remain at $1400 a month. Thanks Rand . I may be unable to afford basic life in America, and I can’t build that patio or buy that car for my kid but at least I know you are holding the line of philosophical absolutism.

There are very few things Congress should ever vote "Yes" on in the first place. In fact, I'd be happy if Congress never did anything legislatively again. Ever.

name one damn thing the left has compromised on in the last 12 years.

So are you telling us its good that Rand operates like a leftist?

And I believe the left compromised (with each other) and passed the ACA to begin with. They compromised and got what they wanted.

My guys draw lines in the sand and say if we don't do it exactly like I want then I'm voting NO; thus we get nothing.

I find it quite interesting how you spin this to be Rand's fault, and not the other Republicans who failed on their own promises.

Rand kept his word.

You're blaming Ran Paul for $1,400 a month healthcare.

Just when you think this board can't possibly be any more ignorant.

He voted not to change the ACA for one and that is keeping the ACA intact. Shame on him for not bending a little to accomplish a little.

He is part of the reason, he and John McCain and the

So you don't want Obamacare abolished. You just want it ever-so-slightly tweaked.

The establishment adores you.

Consider yourself part of the problem.

Oh trust me , I’m a Rand “ guy” . But I am also a pragmatist. You take imperfect victories in politics and public policy . Especially ones that your constituents support. You take the win .

My health insurance has increased from $432 a month the year before Obamacare to an estimated $1400 per month this year. My health insurance company sent me a letter telling me they were leaving the individual market in Louisiana and I am shite out of luck now. While I appreciate that Rand has more integrity than Mitch McConnell , I still need to be able to pay my bills and provide for my dependents.

Yeah, one piece of shitty legislation or another. Maybe if we do get decent health care legislation, you'll change your tune.

But cmon, he should have voted for a flawed plan because it replaces another flawed plan.

I believe a large number of people are just interested in "winning" which just means replacing everything Obama touched, instead of caring about effective policy.

That's how it works, idiot. The establishment paints us into a corner, where we have to accept their next steaming pile of shite. And here you are complaining about someone preventing you from being able to accept their next steaming pile of shite.

And you wonder why I call you sheople.
