Jeb Bush Announces He'll 'Actively Explore' 2016 Run
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush announced Tuesday that he will "actively explore" the possibility of a presidential run in 2016.
Bush, the brother of former President George W. Bush and the son of President George H.W. Bush, announced in a Facebook post that he decided to take the step after spending Thanksgiving with his family.
"As a result of these conversations and thoughtful consideration of the kind of strong leadership I think America needs, I have decided to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States," he wrote.
Bush also said that he will establish a leadership PAC -- a political fundraising organization -- in January.
"The PAC's purpose will be to support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans," he said.
The preliminary move gives Bush the ability to raise money to dole out to other candidates, although it doesn't herald a formal candidacy just yet.

Mitt actually seemed somewhat genuine.
you suck at character estimation. Mitt came off like a used car salesman to most of the nation.

Not to mention he was already rich as frick, so he wasn't going in looking to get set for life.
Yeah, I didn't doubt his intentions. He wants what is best for the country. But the dude came off as a slimeball in my estimation.

Well if he’s running, then he must have the knowledge that the big donors are there to back him all the way.
He’ll bank on moderates and open primary states and flooding the airwaves with $$$ in an attempt to gain nomination by sheer force.
I've grown to expect a Bush-Clinton II and Bush-Clinton III but gotta say Paul-Warren would be interesting.

Romney was a moderate conservative but I have no doubt he would have ran a clean ship and made good decisions regarding foreign policy and economics. I think he would have worked well with both parties in Congress and been a solid President
After seeing his many predictions come to fruition I'm extremely disappointed he didn't win

Oh Joy.
The Establishment political Dynasties never really die, do they?
They just linger in Ruling Class splendor.
All in for Rand Paul.

but I actually liked MItt and thought he would do well.
I really don't like that Bush is going to throw his hat in this. The core of the GOP will probably go for him and then he gets stomped in the general election because of his last name

Liberals are all hypothetical moderates.
"If the Republicans nominate Romney, I'd vote for him."
Republicans nominate Romney.
"I could never vote for Romney."
Four years later, "Romney wouldnt have been a bad choice."
Repeat the above and insert "John McCain."

I would stay home or vote 3rd party if Jeb got the nomination
Posted on 12/16/14 at 10:51 am to NC_Tigah
Doubt he could win. I would just sit that election out anyway.
Not like I am voting for the democrat, so I refuse to vote for another establishment GOP. Rand or bust.
Can you imagine having to vote for either Warren or Bush? Shiiiit

I would hope that this proposition would accelerate the demand for a 3rd party.

quote:my favorite but I don't see anyway that the majority of the GOP votes for paul if a bush is in the running. The majority of both parties are good little sheeple for the established one party candidates that are all the same.
All in for Rand Paul

I don't see anyway Bush would be able to win. He could win the GOP nomination but unlike the dems the republican/conservative side doesn't circle the wagons very well. I would guess independent votes would never go for another Bush. Th dems would be able to take advantage of low voter turnout by republicans to sail to another 4 years in the white house.

Jeb Bush is the only Republican candidate that could save the country BILLIONS...
with him as the GOP front-runner, we could cancel the general election, save all that time and money, and call the Democratic primary the "real" election... which it will be if this uninspiring, underwhelming, RINO is the GOP's candidate!
When I hear "Jeb Bush Presidential front-runner", I don't know whether to yawn or cry.

Yep and it's inconceivable that "big money donors" don't know this, which means the whole thing is rigged.

That is because the big donors don't care who is actually in office. They are making bank either way. It is reasonable to argue that democrat policies actually keep the classes locked in much better than true conservative policies.
