Jeb Bush just formally announced he is forming a POTUS Campaign Exploration Committee. Sounds like he's in. Means Romney and Rubio are likely out.

No link yet. Just broke on CNBC.

I'll always wonder 'what if'.

My vote for McCain was really a vote against Obama's inexperience, but I actually liked MItt and thought he would do well.

Mitt actually seemed somewhat genuine. Not to mention he was already rich as frick, so he wasn't going in looking to get set for life.

That first (maybe it was the second) debate with Obama when the economy was the focus was like nerd porn to me. You could tell Mitt had such a familiarity and ease with high-level macroeconomic thinking. It was pretty fricking impressive. I would have loved to see him steer the behemoth that is the federal governnment. I don't know how good he would at the politics, but man he seemed so comfortable and sharp when discussing actual policies.

He'd have a better chance if his name was Jeb Smith.

No, no, no!!!

No more Bush's/Clinton's.

Rand Paul is the leader, but if i had my preference, i think i prefer Romney now. I think he wasn't seen as very conservative during his campaign, but the number of issues he absolutely predicted and nailed makes me believe he would have been a very good president, and 10,000 times more competent than the dumbshit in office.

Of course, in retrospect, Romney actually schooled the frick out of Obama in the second debate (foreign policy) - notwithstanding Jabba the Hutt's interference on Benghazi.

Yeah, so NOW everybody likes Romney

I would vote for JB against a liberal Democrat, but he's like my 117th choice to get the GOP nomination.

The Bush hierarchy has a lot to do with the negative aspects of where real Conservatism (smallest Government possible) is right now. Neither the Old Man or his Son would take a stand when the chips were down; God forbid they tarnish "the Office", or their precious self-imagined legacy.

Let Baby Brother jump in...and the Tea Party will DEFINE this man, and his milque-toast version of Conservatism once and for all.

By the time '16 rolls around...we'll probably need a leader who wears heat on his hip and shoots target for recreation....instead of playing stick/ball on a manicured landscape.

Jeb is a nice guy...so was Dad and Brother. But the very thought of him at the helm of a Nation on the edge....!
